John McCain’s Alabama Team
Republican state Representatives Cam Ward, Warren Beck, Greg Canfield, Spencer Collier, Randy Davis, Mac Gipson, Todd Greeson, Mike Hill, Jack Williams, and Nick Williams have joined to form a “legislative advisory committee” for John McCain’s Straight Talk America PAC, according to Hotline Blog.
Consider also that McCain has given “more than $150,000 to Republican candidates and county party organizations in Alabama.”
And do you remember that McCain came to Alabama last fall to help George Wallace, Jr. run for Lt. Governor? The day after Strange won the runoff over Wallace (oops), McCain’s PAC sent $5,000 to Strange’s campaign.
You begin to sense that a certain Republican presidential hopeful has noticed that Alabama’s primary will be earlier than it used to be.
