Handshake With Alabama
State Republican legislators will unveil their legislative platform, “Handshake with Alabama,” this afternoon in Montgomery at 1:30. They plan to talk about Riley’s recently unvieled (sic) platform and the Democrats’ Covenant for the Future.
I was told earlier that the legislative platform will largely be in sync with Riley’s campaign platform.
Of course, I was also told that the legislative platform would be released last week. I imagine the release was changed so as not to take away from the 3-day release of Riley’s planks.
Well… Covenant sounds a lot better.
