Dial ‘G’ for Gerald

That heat you feel? It may be from recently defeated Democratic state senator Gerald Dial burning bridges:

Dial has served 32 years in the Legislature, but he got defeated in the Democratic primary June 6. He said Wednesday he decided to do the ad [for the Riley campaign] because he’s been impressed with Riley’s administration and because he’s known Riley since Dial was a high school football coach at Lineville and Riley was playing for Ashland.

Will resist the urge to draw comparisons between Dial and Lieberman.
