Better Tax Policy
In case you missed it, this month the Press-Register and The Anniston Star (scroll down) have favorable pieces about the recently released report from the Center for a Better South called DOING BETTER: Progressive Tax Reform for the American South that I wrote about here last month.
The report offers eleven ideas to make tax systems fairer in 21st century economies. If you do not want to read the whole report, I wish you would consider reading about the one idea from the report that I talked about in last month’s post. That idea does not have to do with being Republican or Democrat, liberal or conservative. It has to do with being smart and accountable.
I am glad to see the report mentioned in state papers.
