2009 Legislative Audio

The Alabama House of Representatives and the Alabama Senate provide streaming audio of their legislative session over the internet. Below are archived recordings of most of the 2009 session in both chambers. These unofficial recordings are not entirely complete from gavel to gavel though not for lack of trying. Power failure, loss of internet signal, and other glitches caused problems in this experimental effort. The audio has not been edited in any way except that silences greater than one minute have been edited down to one minute, and the files have been converted into .mp3 format for greater compatibility.
